Handpicked in small boxes of 10kg in early September. Wine from 80-year-old vines on a terroir of pebbles in Saint Sylvestre, cooler and windier area, short maceration (less than a week, very gentle pumping over, devatting then aging in amphora in sandstone for maximum 10 months.

Wine shows a wonderful spice, pepper and lot of ripe berries like strawberry, mulberry, black currant, black plum, black chery. Great warmth and comfort to this one without being overpowering.

Medium + tannin, Medium+ acidity, Full body, High alcohol, Long finish, round complex texture.
